Twilight New Moon pgs. 550-562 (end of book)

The "rulers" let them all go because Alice and Edward are both very gifted vampires. The only condition is that Edward must turn Bella into a vampire by the next he sees the "rulers." He agrees but tells Bella he won't do it. She wants to be a vampire with him though. He's always so selfish only doing what he wants, but if he turned Bella into a vampire no one could harm her. She doesn't get much closure on the situation, and she dreads going home and telling Jacob that she's with Edward.

Twilight New Moon pgs. 500-550

Bella and Alice take a plane to a city called Volterra located in Europe and inhabited by vampires. Edward's plan is to make the "rulers" of the vampires angry by revealing himself to the humans. He wants to die. Again I hate how impulsive Edward is! he's stupid for leaving Bella and for trying to kill himself. He should at least make sure she's actually dead.
I understand that Bella loves him, but I don't know if I would go after someone who treated me so awful. I don't think I could leave Jacob behind without an explanation.
Bella convinces Edward she is still alive but it is too late. He has already revealed himself. Now not only has he put himself in danger, but he's also put Bella in danger. He thought leaving would keep her safe?? Bella, Alice, and Edward all are summoned to see the "rulers."

Twilight New Moon pgs. 450-500

Bella has a dream of Romeo and Juliette. When she wakes up she ponders what Juliette would do if Romeo had lost interest in her. She applies it to her situation with Edward and feels sad again. She begins to compare her love for Jacob and Edward and she realizes that she does love Jacob but not in the way she loved Edward.
Bella and Jacob are in the car on the way back to her house when Jacob begins to shake. Bella asks him what is wrong and he says that he can smell a vampire. When they reach Bella's street she sees Carlisle's car and begins running to her house in hopes that Edward may be there. Jacob follows. Bella goes inside to find Alice. Alice explains that she saw a vision of Bella dying (obviously it was not true). Alice tells Bella that Edward believes that Bella is dead so he plans to kill himself. Bella and Alice leave Jacob behind to go find Edward.

Twilight New Moon pgs. 400-450

Bella learns more about what it's like to be a wolf. Wolves are warm blooded unlike vampires who are as cold as ice. When they lose their temper they transform into their wolf selves. They can hear eachothers thoughts while they are in wolf form, and communicate this way. They stop aging for as long as they are wolves. They can only stop being wolves when the vampires leave the land. They imprint on their life partners. When they see their soul mate they instantly are aware of it. Jacob explains that the worst part of being a wolf is feeling out of control. He says he feels like a monster sometimes. When Jacob speaks about imprinting on his soul mate it's apparent that he believes that he is in love with Bella but again she plays with his heart.

Twilight New Moon pgs. 350-400

The wolves continue to hunt the vampire that is out to get Bella. The vampire, Victoria, wants revenge on Edward for killing her lover so she plots to kill his. I'm so angry at Edward now. He left Bella defenseless to Victoria. Jacob is the only one there to pick up the pieces. Bella will eventually have to make about whether or not she wants to be with Jacob. I hope she chooses to be with him because he seems so sincere. I believe he honestly cares about her, and he's way less drama than moody Edward. Edward was way too selfish.
Bella in a way is leading Jacob on. She should tell him if she just wants to be friends, but she instead holds his hand. They act like a couple but it's apparent that if Edward came back she'd take him back in a heart beat. She's using Jacob for protection and to fill the void of her loss.

Twilight New Moon pgs. 300-350

In this chapter Bella finds out that Jacob is a wolf. This is why he's been acting so strange. She warns Jacob that her father is hunting for wolves along with the rest of the police. Bella feels like she's pulled in two directions. She's learned to love the vampires, but Jacob is trained to kill them. Bella is disgusted with Jacob at first because she believes that he is hunting humans, but he is actually hunting the vampires that are killing the humans. I feel like it's really hypocritical for Bella to be upset with Jacob when she was friends with vampires for so long. Jacob tells Bella that he and the pack killed the vampire Laurent who previously tried to attack her. Bella knows there is a vampire out to get her. Jacob promises to protect both her and her father. I already like Jacob more than Edward. He's loyal and protective of Bella. He would never leave her like Edward did so selfishly.

I wish I could sketch like this..
