Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone pgs. 225-300 (75 pgs.)

While the students wait to be sorted Harry sees about twenty ghosts pass by. Everything about the school is magical. The ceiling even looks as if it's a real starry night sky. Harry, Ron, and Hermoine are all sorted into Gryffindor. During dinner the first years are introduced to all of the proffessors, and told the rules. To enter each house you must have a password. The students enter through giant portraits. Gryffindor's portrait is a mouthy fat lady. Harry like the other first years is eager to learn the way of the school. He soon realizes that Filch patrols the hallways and is eager to catch students. Harry has many classes dealing with potions and spells. Harry can already tell that his potions teacher, Snape, hates him. I'm confused as to why Snape hates Harry though? I would love to go to a school like this. It sounds so exciting! The ceilings reflect the sky outside, the food is good, and everything is full of magic!
