Wanderer visits her comforter, Kathy, who reveals that Wanderer has never needed one before. The comforter is a sort of therapist. The comforter discusses Wanderer's purpose on Earth. Wanderer gives the comforter more information about Melanie. It is apparent that Melanie has way too much control still over her body. She is present enough to the point that she is irritated when Wanderer cuts her hair.
