Twilight pages 261-312

When Edward tells Bella that they've reached their destination they are standing in a sunny meadow in the woods. Bella sees Edward in the sun for the first time. She found his appearance shocking and lovely all at once. He literally sparkled in the light. Edward and Bella lie down, but before she can get too close he's drawing boundaries.
Edward demonstrates his speed and strength for Bella and she feels like she's seeing him for the beautiful creature he is. He tears a thick tree branch and throws it over a cliff, and then runs circles around her. She is in awe of his abilities. Edward explains that he would never hurt her. He also explains how difficult it is for him to be around her comparing himself to a recovering hroine addict, and she being his own particular brand of heroine. After their afternoon in the meadow Edward takes Bella home.
On the ride home Edward informs Bella of how he was turned into a vampire. He was 17, dying of influenza when Carlisle turned him over. After turning Edward, Carlisle turned his wife, Esme, who had fallen off a cliff and was dying. Rosalie was saved after Esme. Rosalie found Emmett being attacked by a bear, and had Carlisle save him so she could have a companion. Alice and Jasper joined the "family" later.
When Bella and Edward arrive back at her place Edward admits he's familiar with her house because he spies on her. Edward also confesses that he watches her sleep. When Bella's dad comes home Edward hides, and reappears to watch Bella sleep. They snuggle as Bella falls asleep. Edward already is in love with her.
